Taking Advantage of Opportunities

Life is a series of opportunities. And most opportunities come to you via other people. As author/humorist Jarod Kintz has said, “It’s not who you know that matters—it’s who knows you that’s important.” It’s the people who know you who can help you when you need help, or can introduce you to someone else who can help you.

Have you ever said, when faced with a problem, “I don’t need any help, I can do this on my own.” Well, no you can’t. Or at least you shouldn’t. Never be too proud to let someone help you, or introduce you to a connection who could help you. Say “yes” to anyone who offers. No one offers to help unless they really want to assist you.
