I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Katharina has edited the films of Nanouk Leopold since they met at film school in Amsterdam. She has also collaborated with several other filmmakers on both fiction and documentary. Recently she made a fascinating film observing Yann Dedet editing a feature film.
KW: Firstly I must say that editing attracted me because it is a direct form of expression—by-passing language, speech and writing. Therefore this writing exercise is complicated for me. Especially in English, using Google translate!
