If you have been following the advice in the production chapter, you have a working timeline in your editing package of choice. Though Adobe Premiere is my favorite, almost all non-linear editing packages have the features used in this book. Up to this point you have been swapping out your boards for playblasts, your playblasts for renders, and hopefully keeping organized with shot labels and frame counters. My best advice is to not get too creative with the editing until you have most of the film rendered. This might seem the worst way to access the best end result, and you would be partly right if you thought this.
