Finaling
When you are done with the edit, your film is ready to be “finaled.” This is the process of making sure you have conformed your film to the display formats that your film will be viewed in. For instance, many films will go through a final coloring by a colorist, to unify the look of the shots across the entire picture. And if you are submitting to festivals in foreign countries, you might have some converting to do. Let’s go through some of the issues you may face.
