Chapter 6. Managing Your Team
When it comes to participating in competitions, each team discovers and uses a variety of management methods that enable the team to work and play well
together. Options run from total democracy to benevolent dictatorship, but the most successful teams typically find that some sort of middle ground is best for productivity.
In this chapter, we review some examples of team structures as well as the various roles and duties the members might assume. We also discuss making decisions and voting methods, because team members will have differences of opinion. It’s good to have some ideas about how to get past a roadblock and begin moving forward again.
