Performance analysis is not always just the same. It varies. The nature of the request for assistance influences the nature of the performance analysis.
Different requirements tilt us toward different approaches and emphases during performance analysis. These requirements are not radically different. All revolve around the quest for information about how it ought to be, how it is, and what to do to make it happen. But doesn't it make sense that a study to enable a salesforce to sell a new product is different from what you do to contribute to strategic planning or to support the ongoing development of twenty-first-century managers, engineers, or school principals?
