The Fuck-Up…

People outside the film world often ask those in it questions such as “So you own all this equipment?” or “All these people work for you?” Most people work full-time jobs, report to the same location, and perform mostly the same tasks year round. Likewise, most companies own the equipment they need for their day-to-day business needs. So it can be a baffling concept to many that most of the labor and equipment involved in moviemaking is by nature acquired only temporarily.
