[The following essay was written for the students of a monthly Bible Study class that I lead, which fits in well with this book’s theme of finding wholeness.]
There seems to be a paradox at the very essence of our beings. On one hand, we are all discrete entities, separated from each other by our individual physical bodies, our personal histories, our sense of identity, our ideas, specific individual genetic makeup, cultures, and inherent inclinations.
