When you click the Fill or Stroke color box in the Tools panel or Property inspector, Flash displays a color pop up with the colors stored in the Color Swatches panel, which by default contains the 216 colors of the web-safe palette. These colors are often insufficient to meet design needs, so you’ll often need to mix your own colors.
Flash has a dedicated interface for mixing colors: the Color Mixer panel. To mix a solid color, follow these steps:
Open the Color Mixer panel (Window → Color Mixer).
In the Fill Style menu, choose Solid.
To mix a color, use any combination of visual and numeric controls.
To mix a color visually, drag in the Color Space and/or drag the Brightness Control slider.
To mix a color numerically, enter the desired values in the Red (R), Green (G), and Blue (B) fields; alternatively, enter a hexadecimal color value in the Hex Edit Text Box.
