5. Controlling Multiple Timelines
By default, the Flash playhead moves forward on the Timeline from beginning to end. The playhead displays what is on the Stage at any moment and triggers any actions attached to keyframes that it encounters. With ActionScript, you can control the position of the playhead on the main Timeline as well as the playheads of any movie clips that are on the Stage.
