RSS feeds have become very popular as tools for organizations that have continuously updatable information, such as newspapers or databases. An RSS feed is an XML document that provides short descriptions of news content together with a link to the full version of the content. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. While the structures of RSS feeds are very similar, there are slight differences, which have to be adjusted when a reader is developed. For this tutorial I have picked up a typical RSS feed, and our task now is to decipher all the information contained in it.
