New types of controls
The Flex framework provides a nice set of the standard controls: buttons, scrollbars, combo boxes, lists, data grids, and more. But there is some room for extra controls, and that's made up by the bevy of new controls I'll show you in this chapter. These controls work just as well as those in the original framework and make up for a lot of the gaps in the original control set.
