I've been on enough projects to know that if you attempt to bring Flex into a project by first going to the suits and saying "Hey, I want to use Flex," you will run into a roadblock. The best way to bring Flex in is to do a skunkworks-style Flex project, and then show it to the suits and say, "Look at this kick-butt thing—let's use Flex." Concepts are easy to ignore, while working prototypes that rock are much more effective.
