You don’t need to spend a lot of money on supplies to make animated flip books—all you really need are a pencil and notepad. However, you can enhance your animation skills and make your flip book look even more amazing using the basic materials listed here!
PencilsA standard HB pencil (or No. 2 pencil) works well for doodling and shading. Use H (hard) pencils for lighter marks and B (soft) pencils for darker, more vigorous strokes or motion effects.
