6. XAML Controls, Part 2: Complex Widgets
In the last chapter we explored the basic scalar Win8 XAML widgets. If you have some XAML experience, you’ll probably have noticed that there are a couple that are new, and some of our old friends expose some new functionality. But you probably didn’t have any big surprises. (Well, unless you were surprised at some of the widgets that are still missing in this release...)
In this chapter we’ll explore two kinds of more complex widgets: the LAYOUT WIDGETS (not to be confused with Panels) that manipulate the display of their content and the ITEMS CONTROLS whose content is a collection rather than a single item.
