Differential (Head) Meters
The basic concepts of differential meters have been known for several centuries, and are outlined in this chapter. Their advantages are that they are simple, inexpensive, their calibration can be inferred from their mechanical construction, they are available in most sizes, easy to maintain, rugged, widely used and accepted, do not require power, and they can be built with special materials.
