Mathematical Modelling of Flow

In this chapter we shall discuss mathematical modelling of the flow of fluids inside a duct or over the surface using three basic laws of nature, namely the conservation of mass, momentum and energy. To make the understanding of the analysis easy we shall also study various ways a flow can be specified and the different approaches that are in use for the mathematical description of the flow.
