The final finishing steps are often the most critical when bringing a character, an object, or anything that is custom made to life. Unfortunately this step is often rushed or skipped because either time has not been allotted or because the item is “good enough, box it, and get it out of here!” The detailing is the twinkle in the eye, the icing on the cake, the crud painted on the teeth, the shading airbrushed around the eyes, the sprigs of hair added to a mole, or any of a dozen other final cosmetic particulars that can individualize the finished object. ...
