Whatever you use SONAR for you will usually have to work with audio at some point. Even if you work with soft synths and MIDI for your Projects they will have to be converted to audio if you want to master them properly and burn them to CD within your computer.

In many ways audio may not seem as flexible as MIDI, it’s not as easy to move a note for example, but audio does have its own set of advantages particularly with regard to using effects. In this chapter we’re going to look at the variety of methods available for editing audio from simple cut and paste operations to more involved processes like Groove Clip Looping.
