SONAR is available in two editions, the Producer Edition which is the top of the range, flagship product and the Studio Edition which is a cut-down version of Producer. Although the Studio version is an excellent package it does have some important differences that are outlined in this chapter. You may not need or want these features in which case Studio will do a fine job of most duties anyway but if you find that you do need those extras then you can always upgrade.
