Traditional American folk art portraits of children were commonly painted with a prop that was important to the child, such as an animal.
STEP 1
With a fine-tip black marker, copy the template onto a sheet of paper. Now fill in the hair, the cat, and the stripe of the seat under the girl with black paint and a small, flat brush. Alternatively, you can fill in these areas with a broad-tip black permanent marker.
