When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
8 Ideas and Talent
The seminar left John feeling motivated and invigorated in a way he hadn’t remembered feeling in years. John spent the next week scouring his notes for the ideas he wanted to implement. When it was all said and done, he counted fifteen ideas he was trying to implement at once.
“Now, the real work begins,” John muttered to himself.
Next, he compared the notes from his ideas to the mission and vision he had created for his company. On the side of his computer screen hung the following questions:
- What are your company goals?
- Who will help you achieve them?
- How will you get there?
- What resources do you need?
