9.1. Designing the master page
As we mentioned in the introduction, we're going to take advantage of the pages feature of Fireworks to create our application mockup. We'll start by defining the master page, and then add additional subpages. First, create a new Fireworks document with the following settings:
Width: 760 px
Height: 500 px
Resolution: 72 px/inch
Canvas Color: Transparent
From the Pages panel (Window
Pages), right-click the only page in the list and select Set as Master Page. The artwork added to this page will now be seen on all subsequent pages that we create.
