Closing the Loop with JavaScript

We’ve come a long way already with JavaScript. We started out by understanding the roots of the ­language, then graduated to creating complex logic with it. Next, we began to create our own page-level namespaces; and finally, we learned how to hold all of the functionality that we need in a given page or site.

Our next step is to close the loop with the language; we will take what we’ve already learned and combine that with some high-level concepts that will allow us to create complete, professional applications with JavaScript. For example, we will look at the many ways to deal with data; examine ...
