Chapter 9. Blended Realities
The exercises in this chapter will provide technical lessons in blending images for a truth-like visual result. Following the Surrealist style of altered realities, you’ll collapse the source materials into a final composition in which it’s hard to tell where one image ends and another begins. You’ll mock up an Adobe Photoshop document as a design concept for an augmented reality experience. And you’ll continue to use tools learned throughout chapters in this section, with an emphasis on Photoshop’s shape and masking tools using both vector and pixel-based masks.
