The Inverse Problem: Cylindrical NAH
5.1 Introduction
This chapter is concerned with the implementation of NAH in a cylindrical geometry. In many ways the implementation is identical to the planar case, although there is one significant difference. Finite aperture effects exist only in the axial direction. Again we will discuss the errors associated with cylindrical NAH, similar to the planar developments. Much of this chapter will discuss actual experimental results, which we did not do for the planar case, in order to give the reader a greater appreciation of the power and accuracy of NAH, and to provide examples of actual physical experiments using NAH.
