Abstract
We combine the stochastic fractal search (SFS) and pattern search optimization technique to create a hybrid stochastic fractal search (HSFS) algorithm, which is integrated with fractional-order-proportional-integral-derivative (FOPID) controller for controlling the celerity of the DC motor.
