dhcpd Configuration File
The configuration file for the DHCP server, named dhcp.conf, is located in /usr/local/etc. When you installed dhcpd, it placed a sample configuration file in the directory called dhcpd.conf.sample.
There are two ways to configure the dhcpd.conf file. The first way is manually. The second is with the dhcpconf program. If you have never configured dhcpd before, I recommend that you install and use the dhcpconf program. You can then look through the dhcp.conf file that dhcpconf creates to see how the file looks.
