Installing and Configuring Samba

Samba is available in the ports at /usr/ports/net/samba3 (or samba for the unsupported legacy version that lacks some of the newer Windows interoperability features) or in the packages. Refer to Chapter 16, “Installing Additional Software,” for details on how to install a package or port.
