Chapter 13

Arrival

This chapter begins with a brief survey of possible causes of why a start-up can flop and suggests the manner of ending the venture properly. This leads into looking at how achievement can be assessed in revenue as well as growth terms. Some considerations for exit or further growth are presented. The rest of the chapter focuses on how to handle achievements, be a good corporate citizen and acknowledging shareholders and staff. The chapter concludes by proposing that letting go and moving on are important final lessons for the runway entrepreneur.
