My cubicle in the office building was directly adjacent to a massive, long tinted window overlooking the employee parking lot. The window reminded me of one that you would look through to observe sea life at the Camden or Baltimore aquariums. Because the window was tinted, it gave me a private, early-morning view of my co-workers' daily regimens—slowly emerging from their cars, reluctantly trudging to their nine-to-fives.
