The next time you're walking around in a train station or airport, standing on a street corner, waiting for a bus, or sitting at a traffic light, peer around slowly, security-camera style. Do some people watching. Look at their facial expressions, nonverbal communications, and body language. Take note of the number of people you see smiling and those who look somber. Count the smiles. Total the frowns. The number of depressed-looking people will amaze you. It's frightening.
