An Introduction to Business Strategy and IT Alignment
This chapter first introduces you to the reasons why IT has not always been wellaligned with an organization’s business strategy. Then, we will show why such reasons are untenable and reveal how we can leverage an IT concept called enterprise architecture (EA) to build a bridge between the business and IT worlds, in order to create a more business strategy-driven IT roadmap.
