Chapter 6. Moving on Incrementally

BAC’N WAS STARTED on the premise that you launch fast and adjust as necessary. The only problem with that philosophy is that once you launch, you then have to do all that pesky iteration. Furthermore, the motivation to work is often driven by timelines: meaning, when you only have three weeks to launch a company there’s no time for fear or second-guessing or avoiding difficult tasks. Once that impetus to work hard is gone (or softened), you can stumble right into the pitfalls of normal projects, such as laziness, uncertainty, and the desire to avoid the tedious, boring stuff.
