DURING THE FIRST few months of running Bac’n, none of us really knew what to expect. We had been given some pretty optimistic numbers from Rocco at Bacon Freak before we started, so we believed in our ability to make money. However, as we moved past our second, third, and fourth month of business, we realized that our growth was definitely slower than we’d hoped.
We kept looking for small changes to make, and we tweaked content and design when we thought it would make a difference. But the little things failed to push us into the strong sales we were hoping for. After a while, some of the enthusiasm started to wear off.
