Final Cut Pro has the ability to automatically analyze two (or more) clips and sync them up based on their audio. This is of course useful when recording DSS but can also be used if you are shooting with two or more cameras and want to sync them up. Although Final Cut Pro X has not released its multicam editing feature (as of this writing), we have found a workaround that will allow you to more easily edit multiple camera angles in the same project. There are two ways to sync your audio: automatically within Final Cut Pro X or by using markers. Let’s explore both.
