Viewing Audio Clips
When working with audio, it often becomes necessary to refine your view. This is often the case when creating a final audio mix because you want to see the waveforms as well as the audio meters so you can ensure that the audio file is not clipping. It can also come in handy as you try to perform audio repairs to remove or minimize problem areas.
Understanding Waveforms
The information you see in the Timeline about an audio clip is called a waveform. This visual representation shows you details about the actual sound. When working with audio in a Timeline, you have several ways to interact with the audio waveforms. You can zoom in or out to see details, or you can make the waveform taller or shorter.
