Burning to Disc

An easy way to share your movie with others (especially those without computers or portable media players) is to burn a movie to an optical disc. With Final Cut Pro, you can create a standard-definition DVD or a Blu-ray–compatible disc.


Although most Macs come with a SuperDrive that can burn DVDs (the MacBook Air does not, but it can be purchased separately), you’ll need to invest if you want to make Blu-ray discs.
