Careers in FX trading
Some readers may be looking at forex trading as a potential career, rather than as an after-hours activity that can make them more money. I have been writing about and working in the financial industry for 18 years, and during that time I have been witness to remarkable changes in the way money is managed, and also in the way the industry recruits.
In the early 1990s the financial industry was still very male-dominated, and the skills prized were not the skills many employers look for today. There are many more women working in financial services and the world of trading than ever before, and there are even some all-girl trading teams that are making a success of it away from their male peers.
