Abstract
This chapter describes the current practice with respect to transport, on-site handling, storage, milling and pneumatic conveying of biomass during co-firing in coal-fired power stations, and the associated design of handling and storage equipment, as well as the required hardware modifications to convert existing dedicated coal-fired power plants.
