OSS/BSS Functions
This chapter is intended to give the reader an understanding of the fulfillment, assurance, and billing support systems. The building blocks in each of these support systems and the activities performed by the building blocks are explained in this chapter. There is fulfillment, assurance, and billing associated with both business and operation support systems. The reader will get a chance to understand where the different OSS/BSS solutions available in the market fit in with the holistic support system perspective.
