High-Speed Photography
High-speed photography is a technique of taking pictures of things that happen with very fast action. It may involve either the taking of still photographs that freeze motion, or the recording of an event using video at an increased frame rate sometimes referred to as slow-motion video. High-speed photography is useful for documenting action that is too fast for the human eye to see, such as blood droplets, guns firing, or the impact of an instrument.
