Preface

The Long-Term Evolution (LTE) is the next evolutionary step beyond 3G for mobile wireless communication. LTE brings together many technological innovations from different areas of research such as digital signal processing, Internet protocols, network architecture, and security, and is poised to dramatically change the way we use the worldwide mobile network in the future.
