C.1. CD Folders
The version of MATLAB used to create the files is R2009a (Version 7.8.0.347), configured for operation on a Windows PC machine. The included CD contains the following folders:
1. Algorithm_implementations - These are MATLAB m files that implement the algorithms described in Chapters 9 (Algorithms for Estimation), Chapter 10 (Algorithms for Detection), and Chapter 11 (Spectral Estimation). Each file is a function subprogram with a typical file being FSSP3alg_9_1_sub.m, which implements Algorithm 9.1. In some instances external programs are called for. In these instances the additional programs required are given in the folder “Utility_programs”.
