- Your board helps you set your goals and strategies, and having a good one is truly the key to getting things done. Your board can offer tremendous support for your fundraising efforts and set the course for the big picture of your organization.
- Equally important to your organization’s effectiveness are your volunteers. Some volunteers package donation request letters, manage calls for annual telethons, and process donations, while others provide leadership in a variety of ways.
These two groups of people — your board and your volunteers — have the answers to the why and how of fundraising and contribute in a big way to the overall success or failure of any initiative your nonprofit organization undertakes.
