Abstract

Theoretical analysis of critical chain project management (CCPM) is presented and practical use of CCPM is illustrated in this study. For improving the Project Management Body of Knowledge, CCPM helps provide considerable steps. Following the CCPM approach, the improved impact is studied on the ground of schedule recording, cost, and scope performance. The critical chain aspect is faced by project management where resource dependencies and never-changing criteria are shown. CCPM assures feasibility and tolerable state at the time of statistical fluctuations. In this paper, a case study of an agricultural firm has taken near the TALADANDA canal and National Rice Research Institute (NRRI), Cuttack, Odisha, India. The practical implementation of CCPM on the agriculture firm is presented with a selection of best cropping planning multi-criteria context. The three objectives, maximization of net benefit, agricultural product and labor utilization are emphasized. Under CCPM, the decision-maker selects a few out of the whole lot by their preference and choice. Then by cluster analysis, we have reduced a large number of solutions to manageable numbers of the group each consisting of relatively homogeneous alternatives. Then both crisp ...
