I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 10: FX trading at the big end of town
Institutional foreign exchange is the big end of town when it comes to the FX market. This is the home of the inter-bank and wholesale market. Though bigger, it is by no means necessarily any more able in its ability to assess and profit from the FX market.
However, unlike the little person, what institutional investors can do as a group will sometimes have a large bearing on short to medium moves in the currency markets. Therefore, knowing who they are, what they do and why they do it will give retail traders (us little people) the chance to survive and hopefully thrive in what is an enormous sea of money trading on the inter-bank and wholesale markets across the globe in 100+ currency pairs.
