By the end of this chapter, you will be able to:
•Create and configure FMOD Mixer Snapshots.
•Create Reverb zones in the Unity Scene.
•Trigger FMOD Mixer Snapshots inside Events.
Although the avatar’s footsteps are set to change when the player enters the Fort, it will add a touch of realism to add reverb. This could be done via parameter control, but a much simpler solution is to use Mix Snapshots and Reverb Zones.
This chapter will take you though setting up Mix Snapshots in FMOD, setting up Colliders in Unity to trigger the snapshots, and using Layers in Unity to prevent the Rockets from colliding with the Reverb zone.
