In the previous chapters, we built from scratch a couple of shoot ‘em up games basing our design on the classics of the genre. We got inspiration from giants like Galaga, Space Invaders, and Ikaruga. We explored the genre in its entirety and its evolution through the years learning precious lessons about how to design and develop a good and fun STG.
