Even if you can’t play or sing a note, you can have lots of fun using GarageBand’s live loops, which are prerecorded bits of music that require absolutely no talent on your part to sound great. In many cases, the fastest and easiest way to get a song started is to use one of the thousands of loops included with GarageBand.
Unlike GarageBand for Mac, which offers only a traditional multitrack interface, GarageBand for iDevices offers two paths to making music: a traditional multitrack interface similar to the Mac version and live loops, which use a grid of touch-sensitive pads to trigger sounds.
